Balancing the game (End of August and early September)

After the last playtesting I found out I had to make huge adjustments to the overall experience. As it was already mentioned on the last devlog, the crows were obstacles I thought were going to be a little problematic for my players. Turns out I was completely right about this! The biggest issue here was that the crows can completely obliterate the main character in a single interaction if the player decides to continue walking forward after being hit. These enemies can literally empty your entire life bar in just a second or two if you are not extra careful while playing the level (At least on this build of the game). Obviously, having your HP depleted instantly by a normal enemy is not right, so I had to change many things on the first level to make sure it was easier to traverse. (make the crows deal less damage, change their positions, lower the numbers of enemies, etc)

My players also had many problems with the main combat mechanic of the game, which required you to press forward while attacking to activate the damaging hit box and kill the enemies. To make sure this wouldn't happen again I just made it so that you can attack just by pressing the button normally.

Some people also told me the main character was kind of slow. I just changed his speed on Unity to fix this. Now there are many things that must be changed on the level because of this change, as now there are many obstacles and platforms you can skip for being too fast.
